The Therapist Finder

About

The Therapist Finder is a UK therapist directory designed to help people find the right counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist for their needs. Created by a practising psychotherapist, the platform makes it easier to search for verified independent therapists by location, specialism, session type, fee and availability.

Whether you are looking for support with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationships, stress or life changes, The Therapist Finder gives you a simple way to compare therapists and contact them directly. Profiles include helpful information such as qualifications, professional memberships, therapy approaches, areas of expertise, languages, fees, online or in-person availability and practice locations.

The directory is built to be clear, supportive and easy to use, helping clients feel more confident when choosing someone to work with. It also supports independent therapists by giving them a dedicated space to present their practice and connect with people actively looking for therapy.

The Therapist Finder focuses on genuine, independent professionals rather than large therapy platforms, giving users a more personal and transparent way to begin their search for mental health support across the UK, with clear guidance, useful search filters and accessible information for anyone taking their first step towards therapy or returning to support later.
